he mission of ‘The Great American Seed Company’ is to deliver the absolute BEST seeds and seed-gardening educational material (Books, Video DVD Courses, and so on) to people all over the world. We are “EXTREMELY” passionate about procuring, growing, harvesting, testing, and packaging seeds that are nutritious, bountiful, and fun to grow. We are also equally passionate about educating people about planting and harvesting seeds, and have taken on the responsibility of providing the best seed gardening educational information one could get, with each seed package we sell.
Our audacious goal is that every home in the US and all across the world would one day contain a vegetable, fruit, or herb garden. Audacious goal? You bet…but that’s what keeps us motivated and going strong, growing and packaging the best seeds as well as creating the best seed gardening educational material. We are excited to be ambassadors of this goal that the Creator of the Universe has tasked us with.
In the U.S., the last generation of career farmers is retiring. Specifically, more than 50% are set to retire in the next 10 years. Their farmland will be up for grabs. Will it go to behemoth industrial agricultural corporations (like you know who…), and therefore most likely lead to a few specialized monocrops such as wheat, corn, soy, etc. that brings in higher incomes but decimate ecosystems? Will it become strip malls? Or might it become a collection of smaller food producers like you producing a variety of crops? The last option is the only one that’s environmentally sustainable. It’s also the tastiest…It’s the way of The Great American Seed Company.

We provide you with Mylar bags and extra-strength rubber bands to store your seeds for a long…long time. Mylar is just ‘perfect’ – it light proof, heat proof, oxygen proof, air proof and water proof. [Note: A little bit of air will still remain in these Mylar bags after closing – this is good because seeds need some air to breathe in low light/heat conditions] (See the page for the Seed Pack for technical details about the storage material included)
100% Heirloom, Non – GMO, Non – Hybrid & Open – Pollinated. All the seeds have been tested to ensure a 90% + Germination Rate at the time of packaging.
